No charge for jobseekers. Companies pay a flat fee for permanent employees of about 10 percent of the worker's annnual salary, or a ongoing fee of a bout 10 percent of a temp's hourly wage.
The Founder
Lisa Benson, 38, founded Percipio Consulting Group in 2001. She sold her share of the company in 2005 and took 18 months off with her boys, Zachary, 4 and Joey, 7.
Employees
Two full time: Benson, the President, and Laura Wacker, the Director of Operations. Two recruiters work on comimssion.
Where They Work
Benson and Wacker, both mothers of young children, work out of their Portland homes. Two recruiters work from their homes in New York City and Seattle.
The Idea Source
While Benson was taking time off with her boys she realized that her girlfriends were leaving the work force after having children. She wanted to find a way to provide corporations access to such people, who can work part-time or from home.
The Money
Benson invested $125,000 from the sale of her previous company.
Benson's Dream
"What drives me is creating a movement where corporations will be more supportive of people who need part-time and remote schedules. Parents are more productive at work when they have more control over their environment."

"Marketing is something that keeps me up at night." Benson says. "It's something I could always be doing better."

Benson expects to be profitable by the end of the year
